GOOD: Think before you post! What goes up does not always come down. Respect the privacy of others (get permission first)! Treat others (and opinions) with respect, even if they don't deserve it. PROFESSIONALS: (the same applies to Hair Stylists, Makeup Artists, Modeling Talent, and other related fields) There are many levels and types of Photography. Hobby Photographers are in it for fun and typically never get paid and don't pay others for photo projects; they may own nice gear and sort of know how it all works, they may even be awesome photographers, but are not accustomed to working with a production team or talent and often have little interest in engaging the professional aspect of photography. Amateur Photographers (aka "Club Photographers") typically do not get paid for photography and do not pay their team for projects; they usually belong to one or more photography clubs and take photography a bit more seriously and are intentionally practicing their skills to become a "Professional". Pro-Amateur Photographers are engaged in becoming a full-time professional and occasionally are paid, and sometimes pay their team for assignments; they typically work with other photographers and assistants or a production team on a professional level. Professional Photographers get paid for what they do and typically pay their team for assignments; they conduct themselves professionally, get regular calls for paid projects and assignments, understand how to work with a production team to a plan and schedule, and have a strong history of being paid for their services and products that show an evident level of professional talent. Be honest with the group about your position and experience and please do not imply that you are a "Professional Photographer" unless you actually are a professional.

AGENTS or AGENCIES must provide an admin with a copy of their valid TN business license that shows their business name and indicates they are a talent management agency, and may only post an advertisement or solicit members with permission from an admin. This is to protect our members and preserve the value of the industry we work in.
